The concept of Slo Time came from the project brief of creating a message of how we can represent our form of “Escapism from 2020”. As I started generating ideas the topic of time came about. One of my favorite musical composers Max Richter said, “I never heard anyone say things are getting so much slower.”

 

My senior project, capstone concept, was to be able to escape this fast time we are living in. I had two ideas a journey/ road trip van and meditation event, I chose that latter but polished it into more of an organization to represent.

 

One thing I wanted for people to take away from my project was to understand this time concept in their own life but also remember it. That is why I made journal notebooks for people to take which included the quote, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”
